I have a bunch of 69 tail lights that came with my car when i bought it, but, one is different.  You'll notice the blackout is not present on the bottom and the bosses that hold the chrome bezel are a different shape.  I realize it's probably no big deal, but just curious as to why.  If I had to render a guess perhaps it was a different mold - possibly later in production. Perhaps the thought the bottom didn't need the blackout so it save some time making them???  Any ideas??

Also, is a 450 wheel correct for a spare on a 69 Daytona?  If so, what do they typically cost if you can find one??

I think that taillight is an early 1970 version. Prior to the extra reflector version which began on January 1 of 1970. I believe some of the 70's were of that unblacked out version. The 1970 RT's and the 500's did not have the chrome bezels (they had the aluminum finish plate that covered the area surrounding the taillights) but the early plain Jane Chargers I think had the chrome bezels also. I have seen this style you have with the bezels also. I would guess this is a 70 RT or Charger 500 lens prior to January 1 1970 taillight that had the aluminum finish panel.  :Twocents:

& "450" wheels are 15x7.0" and were used 1970-'71

a Daytona would use 14x5.5" (440) or 15x6.0" "H"-wheels (HEMI)

Thanks for the info on the lens, I was curious.  So was that 450 wheel used on all 70-71 b bodies? ie: satellites, belvedere??   For my wheel - is there anything significant about the wheel for my car such as markings or style?  It was built June 2 if the date code matters.
