Brakes doubt...maximun discs size?

Hello!!
I am thinking about putting polished 15" torq thrust wheels in my 1970 Charger RT (P235/60R15 in front, P275/60R15 in back). It has already original Power brakes and I would like to put some good disc brakes on it, so...anyone knows what is the largest discs size I can put whit these wheels?
By the way...do you think 16" is better than 15"? Anybody with 16" in his/her Charger?

DKN used to run 16" rims.  I'm not sure what's available in that size anymore so I'd check that first.  I'd stick with 15" or just go with 17", that's what I did.  The size of the caliper is also a factor, not just rotor size.  Up to 12" rotors usually fit 15" wheels.  The Scarebird kit that uses 11.72" Ford rotors and Dodge calipers will fit stock 15" rims.

11.75 systems will safely fit inside nearly all 15" rims. There are factory Mopar offerings in this size as it was available on later B bodies and larger C bodies. Depending on your wheel, you may be able to fit a 12.19 rotor in there. However, these tend to be dedicated race offerings from the likes of Wilwood, Baer, or Aerospace Components. Due to the large diameter disc, caliper bridge dimensions are also a critical factor in these kits and they will typically not be available in factory calipers.

I don't know that I would bother with a change to 16" rims. Even 17" selections are thinning out unless you pick a size that was a factory offering on something like Vettes, Vipers, or Cobras.  Currently a  lot of tire manufacturers are making 18" the  preferred UPH tire diameter. Obviously, moving into this realm means you can than consider 13" or 14" rotors.
