Bench versus bucket - seat height

Just out of curiosity.  In the 45 years and 8 months I have been associated with my charger, I have never sat in a charger with bucket seats.  Mine has a bench seat (my parent's family car).  The driver and passengers sit up high in the car, it never occurred to me until today when my son said it was like a van, that the bucket seat car's might have a different (lower down) feel to them.  Can someone who has had an opportunity to compare bench and bucket let me know how different or similar they are?
