So this is in the news today and I like his stuff.

We can see and plot things like this. Movies have been made of it. --Halloween is near. ---Is it time to fear the end of us again?  Or is it a time to celebrate our making another trip around the sun?
It is a time again to acknowledge what we can do with what we have to work with. November may be a very different place.

I like this time of year.

This one is far enough to not worry about, but we never know when that big one is gonna be hurtling our way when all we can do is say uh-oh.  I refuse to live in fear though.  We'll just do like the people living near faults and pretend everything will be fine.   

Too bad you need a scope to see it, I haven't got much more than some binoculars and they're not gonna cut it.
