How do I find out when my Charger was Built.

My fender tag reads:

M21  M31  N85  R11  V1W  V8X
A01  B51  C16  C55  G33  L31
R6 C6R R6 829 066003
E86  D32  XS29  L9B  116815

Also, Is it possible to have Factory A/C and not have it listed on the Fender Tag? ???

MOPARHOUND!

My guess is August 29, 1968.  (829)

*Speed costs money son, how fast do you want to go, and for how long?"
*"Build the biggest engine you can afford the first time."
*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."

The Hound is right. :yesnod:

As far as A/C, I doubt it could have came with it from the factory and not be setup for it or coded. They did do dealer installs back then. Do you have any pics?

ChargerRob

What strikes me weird is that the A/C system installed in my Charger is 1968 vintage and my car was apparently built 8/29/1968.

Robert, that is very odd...you didnt tell me  that when you registered your car.

Doesnt even have 26 on the tag for a 26" rad that an A/C car would have.

Do you have a pic of the tag?  I remember when you registered you said you didnt have the broadcast sheet correct?

I'll take a pic of the fender tag and forward it to you Chris. I do not have a broadcast sheet.

Thanks Rob.   It would be really odd to have factory installed A/C without it on the tag.
The A/C in your car was definately factory installed because of the firewall cut outs for the heater valve, blower motor etc....

Seems like another case of "Never say Never"
