Am wondering if anyone is using an electric power brake boost set up?
Would love to see your set-up. Do you need different brake lines? Can you use the original MC?
This rig is presently a manual system. Disks up front, drums in back. All new.  I'm talking about: Hydro-boost, Tallon hydraulics or ABS' electric boost.                                     Thanks for any replies

Don't know anything about the electric boost but many here are running hydroboost with great results.

As long as you have power steering it will work fine with the current components. But most suppliers will recommend the proper master cylinder for their kit so your current one might not match up with it. Brake lines are still usable as long as they are in good shape but you'll want to add a proportioning valve to dial in the brakes properly.

Has an AlterK front end.  So no power steering.

When i think elec boost, the 1st thing that comes to mind is the grand nationals and all those issues and the owners converting away from them. A properly set up manual system will stop great.

You can't run power steering on the Alter-K?

I mounted the electric booster on a customer car back when....   gave him quite a few problems over the long run...    we ended up running a hydroboost later on after he got tired of pulling his hair out.

No.  And no room for power steering box.  Here's a pic of the room I have to work with. RMS kinda suggest Hydro-boost
Am wondering.  I believe the stock MC is 1.032".  If I change to a 15/16" MC, will my rig stop better?  I know there will be more travel in the peddle.
Thanks

I started to think of my statement about not being able to run power steering with an AlterK.  I was wrong.  Flaming River does offer a power rack.  Can either use your original pump or one of their expensive new ones.

I am just now putting a Hydraboost setup on my Daytona clone, I have magnum force K frame setup with manual rack just using the power steering pump to power the hydra booster seems to work great so far and I still need to bleed the brakes.
Only problem with the magnum force setup is the shock tower support bar is in the way of driver side exit brake lines so had to get wildwood MC since they exit either side.
