Got to give her credit, she stopped it from overheating again.

My friends wife called him one day. He'd been reminding her to check things under the hood routinely so she filled the engine with water. She called only because it took soooo much water to fill it.

My sister-in-law seized the engine in her car by running it out of oil. When my brother asked if the oil light had come on she said "Yes". He then asked her why did she not pull off the road when that happened. She said she thought it would get brighter if it was really important. :slap:

They call them "idiot lights" for a reason................  :yesnod:
1970 Daytona Charger SE "clone" (440/Auto)
1967 Charger (360,6-pak/Auto)
2008 Challenger SRT8 BLK (6.1/Auto) 6050 of 6400

myk

What's the problem?  Filling your engine with water WILL keep it from overheating...
