Sorry about the wrong link, Thanks for the correction.

I've been wrong before too, but if you price the individual pieces together it seems to pencil out. Where else can you get the pieces in one place?

Probably an insurance company,  Hagerty will spend $$$$ to get a car fixed.  buddy has a ton of NOS parts priced way above ebay selling prices, his number one customer base is insurance companies.

maxwellwedge

They are on almost a 47 year back-order......if you need a real one - what else do you do?  :^)

in my recent (successful) hunt for a Daytona I uncovered two Daytona nose and one superbird, the bird nose $10k sorry I cant give up who the owners are. three different people and they each are worried they might get used on a clone so are only interested in talking to someone with a damaged car or a real car with a plastic nose.
if it was easy anyone could do it

I would love another/better nose for my Bird, but for 10G's, I'll have to pass............

I was chatting with Ted J. a few weeks ago... He suggested, and a good upsale, that I get one of his fiberglass noses and use that one and keep the original off to the side since I do plan on driving it a lot..... I hear his noses are very good and sturdy... no? Just an option.........

Another option would be to contact this guy about restoring your old nose. It is only metal and this guy is one of the premiere metal shapers in the country. Worse thing he could say is no or it will cost you more than $10,000.  http://www.faybutler.com/contact.htm
