Just got my seats back from being reupholstered with legendary covers (leather inserts done using stock 68 pattern).  I will post some pics soon, when I originally bought the seats they were disassembled.  I have two large fiber like washers that are supposed to in between the backrest mounts and the seat bottom to keep from damaging the vinyl and also two washers that have a rubber backing on them.  I am guessing these between the seat bolts and the backrest?  Also guessing that I am missing half of these (for the other bucket?)  I can take some pics if it would help.  thanks  matt

I haven't got to my seats but I know that there are fibre like spacers for mounting the seats to the floor.

Four for each seat.  They are round black spacers, about 25mm - 40mm in diameter.

Are the ones you talking about look like this?

The seats take one rubber and one fiber washer each seat, which one goes inside or out "I don't know" I'll ask my friend what goes where, Shakey you have to take the plastic covers off of the backrest hinge to get a better look at the washers Runningman is talking about.

I get it now!

My front seats are already recovered and in pieces stashed away in the basement waiting for the install - whenever that may be.

I do have an extra set that I looked at and now see the rubber washer you guys are talking about.

You're pretty quick with the pics today.

Isn't it almost bed time over there?

Thanks for the parking brake cable photo.

On my seats there is small nylon style console side and a large black one outer side.

Are they the same as later models?  Could still be available at the dealer.
