Tremec Swap

Hey guys, just a couple of questions on a tremec install on a 69..

I have the hydraulic clutch with the kit and I'm wondering is the original clutch spring needed or should I remove it?

Also did any of you guys have problems with the brake light switch bracket? Where my hydraulic clutch rod attaches to the clutch pedal it hits the brake switch bracket.. And I'm thrown for a loop on what to do.

Which spring? What type of hydraulic clutch, external slave or hydraulic TO bearing?
The switch bracket interference might be caused by the pushrod being on the wrong side of the pedal arm.
