Does anyone know what size the hole in the tranny hump is supposed to be to fit the automatic shifter linkage through?  68 Charger

I have the replacement AMD front floor pan, I'm getting some bad metal replaced tomorrow.  I'd like to get them to cut the hole, I have no way of doing it without hacking it up.

Thanks Pat!  I have the shifter assembly, a prior owner of my car wanted to make it a 4 speed.  All they did was cut the hole in the tranny tunnel.  I added a wrinkle in the floor pan, this is what I'm getting repaired today.

Got the hole patched!  Turned out Great!  I got the work done at Godspeed Fabrication in Auburn, WA.  Check out the shifter they made up for me!
They have pictures they are going to send me of the work and process shots which I'll post later.  Super excited to have this fixed after owning the car for 7.5 years!  It's definitely a rolling restoration and long term project.

Looks like they done a good job.
