Nor I, the 68-70 Charger cluster is one of the best looking ones from the musclecar era imo.

I respect your opinion, especially since you have both to look at.  I liked the 1st gen one a lot but I do still like my 2nd gen one better.  Just my opinion though.  And I have to admit the 3rd gen rallye cluster is pretty badass too.

My best idea so far has been a Lexan backing plate with the guts from a bunch of aftermarket gauges affixed to the back. Laying the EL film on top and using a Mylar cover with the gauges' registers printed on top. One of these days when there's 3k burning a hole in my pocket, yhat's what I'm going to do.
