Wonder why he didn't clean down the frame rails while the pan was out....

EDIT- Didn't even notice the part where the rails weld to the pans are GONE.

What's the definition of a Barn Find? I thought it was a somewhat preserved original example.

Ghoste

I think it used to be but now that the term is cool its become the sales buzzword of the day and they are all barn finds.  :rotz:

We sure must have a lot of leaky barn roofs scattered about the USA :icon_smile_big:

Thats true.  A barn is not usually the best long term storage idea for cars under the best conditions. (dirt floors, leaky roofs, holes in walls, critter access and on and on)

Also, does "Find" imply that it was lost, or that the current owner happened to "find" the former owner?

Still, even with its issues its a decent price.

This is why I want to do my own bodywork.  It looks like you could whack the new trunkfloor loose from the rails with one good upward hit from a 10-lb sledge.

:iagree: :iagree: :iagree:

A term well overused. And now folks are adding the word "Fresh" in front of words "Barn find" ?

"Fresh barn find 68 Charger R/T for sale" WTF LMAO :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

TPR

'Fresh Barn Find' means its been sitting in a barn for thirty years, but it was only found yesterday.

myk

One time I walked into a barn and found a pile of horse excrement.  I did NOT get my asking price on Craigslist...

I would be curious to see what this sells for.... mine was a 68 project in better condition but same specs.  got mine for far less than this price.
