This is really cool and would be fun to have. I would at least put a factory Tuff Wheel steering wheel in it though.

Aren't "Florida" and "no-rust" mutually exclusive terms ?

Rooster called.  Says he wants his car back.

I like it. :coolgleamA:

I'd take the hood scoops and the K Mart chrome air cleaner off and throw them in the nearest dumpster...

Then cruise the balls off it.  :2thumbs:

Am I the only one that thinks it's butt ass ugly? I'd paint an 01 on it and find the nearest ramp :nana:
1969 Charger 383/auto
1969 Charger R/T 440/auto (waiting to be restored)
1972 Chevelle SS clone 383 sbc
1959 Chevy Apache short bed stepside
1968 Charger (glorified parts car)
Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.

That one falls into the category of "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should".

Tilt and telescope column. Tuff wheel won't bolt on because of the telscoping feature. Lock is built into the wheel hub.

That has to a blast to drive around in. I want one!

That battery is a bomb waiting to happen. Love the tape job. I'd be willing to bet there is a jumble of wire nuts under the dashboard.

Oh ok. I don't know much about C bodies. Well, it still would look better with slots or Cragar SS wheels on it.

I would lose the hood scoops and make it more of a sleeper.....some poor Chevy or Ford owner will never know what has just blown his doors off....(If the road has any down hill angle...this land yacht would be unbeatable...."gravity always wins") ;D

I owned the 1978 4-door version of this car once. White on white, with white seats and light blue interior. For it's rather immense size and weight, it actually moved along at a fairly brisk clip when prompted. If I remember correctly, it was a one-owner car that had been traded in on a mini-van in the early 90s (for better fuel economy?). It had always been garaged, was spotless inside and out, and had something like 50k miles on it. I paid $1300 for it and drove it for the next five or six years almost trouble free. It was like going down the road in a 6,000 pound pillow.  I remember it very fondly.

I like it.  Its too nice a car for the D-Derby, but left stock wouldn't get a second glance at a cruise night.  I'm sure its a hoot to drive now.

myk: didn't crash it per se. I did hit a landscaping railroad tie on the highway that bent the front rim and ruined the fender skirt on the passenger side. Sadly, I was in very fast and heavy 6-lane traffic (on I-470 near Bandamere Speedway) and didn't have any safe options to avoid the impact. That really ruined it's good looks. It was also starting to have some minor electrical gremlins about that time, and my wife really wanted something different (her fellow IT-types gave her a serious ration of crap about driving it, although it was a very popular lunch-time ride). I think I donated it to charity shortly after that (and got a great write-off on my taxes). I then replaced it with a brand new 1996 Isuzu Trooper.  About 8-months later, XS29L8B in UU-1 Light Blue Metallic came into my life. Life was good. Still is.
