Hi
I am modifying my motor mounts according to the description Ron posted.
My new rubber portion , of the mount, has a stud 1/2 inch longer than the one removed.
My engine is on a cradle and I can't get to the mounting tabs to do a dry fit of the mounts.

Is there any clearance issues with the longer studs?  Would cutting be necessary?
2 pictures attached.
Thank you
John

yes you wont get them in
need to do as in the thread , but that one on the right looks like its done , coming apart ? replacement
once you have done them up, just cut the excess thread off ,
top of the bolt has to be counter sunk ,

fy469rtse: The mount on the right is the older one being replaced.
The one on the left is the new one with the longer stud.
I think that you are suggesting that I cut off the excess after the nut is torqued.

I didn't look at page 3 of Ron's post.  Pictures are there.
Sorry for wasting space.

Thank you
John
