I am looking for a Lakewood bellhousing to go from a 440 to a tko. I can't use a quicktime because my flywheel is a 143 tooth. I can find the Lakewood bellhousings but they are all for the latemodel transmissions. I would like to know if anyone knows where I could get one that is drilled for the tko?

You're stuck with the Quicktime and it only accepts the 130-tooth flywheel.

There is a Lakewood bellhousing out there that will fit either a A833 or a TKO series transmission....   I know because I used to have one on my charger and it fit a 143 tooth wheel....      you should be able to find one.

You're looking for Lakewood part number ??????? ---

That bellhousing is for the NV4500 truck 5-speed not the TKO.

Just saying....    The TKO transmission shares the bolt pattern with the muncie transmission from what I remember....    Muncie teamed with New Process to build the NV4500....      :shruggy:

Upon closer inspection John seems to be correct - my part number is different but cant tell from the old pic what it was.   :slap:

Perhaps the TKO shares a bolt pattern with one of the NV boxes?

from what I remember, I believe the Lakewood is modified by a machine shop to bolt the tko to it.  I have one, and it had to be sent out for modification when I purchased my tko600.  They bore out the center and drill and install threaded lugs for the tranny bolts.  I might have some pics of the mods.
