Strange, that just didn't do it for me.  I'll give it shot when it comes to the small screen though.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

TruckDriver

It looks good to me, other then it looks like he is going to have a woman as a side kick. I liked it where in the first 2 movies where he worked alone for the most part.
PETE

My Dad taught me about TIME TRAVEL.
"If you don't straighten up, I'm going to knock you into the middle of next week!" :P

As usual these days, Wayyyyy too much CGI for me. Most action movies these days go "over-the-top" with it and it is just distracting to me.

Anyways, I guess I would accept Charlize Theron as a partner !  :-)   Ha !

The originals were pretty over-the-top for what the low-budget Aussie filmmakers had to work with 35 years ago.  And they kept getting more outlandish each time they got more resources.

This doesn't look like the old movies but it does look like the direction they were pointing back then.

If they had tried to remake "The Road Warrior" with low-budget practical effects today then I don't think it would have gone over as well as we want.

The diehard Mad Max fans would have said "Meh, pretty good, but I like the originals better".  The rest of the modern market would have said "They have so much more tools to worth with now, and they don't try to do any more with it than before?"
