Hello! I decided to present myself too. I joined couple of weeks ago but I have been checking this site a lot earlier too.

Unfortunately I'm not a Charger owner yet. I have been looking for one for some time already but so far suitable hasn't been found. I would prefer finding a '69 model but I'm not declining if suitable '68 pops up. I'm trying to find slightly rough looking car and put it back to street while still looking a little rough. I'm planning to update the powertrain so originality isn't what I'm looking for. I'm also considering death proofing it with a sturdy roll cage and good harnesses. I rolled my last daily driver on highway in the last August and I have been having some safety thoughts after that.

Finding a car for myself is slightly hard as I live in Finland and the local Chargers are pretty expensive. So I probably need to import my future Charger from the US. I have countrymen in the US who are looking for cars to be shipped to Finland but they operate only in California (near LA), Texas (near Houston) and Florida (near Ft Lauderdale).

I'm just about to become a house (and garage) owner so I have some budget limits but now I can also consider acquiring project cars. So far I have had to buy cars that I could drive to my car club and do minor fixes.

My first car was a '63 Chrysler Newport that I kept until last spring (my parents' plumber begged me to sell it and I couldn't decline anymore).

I hope I can share something useful to this board.

Welcome to the site.  I've mentioned it before but there sure seem to be a lot of Mopars in Scandinavia.

Welcome to the site, hope your contacts find something that works for you.
I used to own a mopar because it was different, but now I know better.

Thank you. We do indeed have plenty of Mopar enthusiasts here. Sweden and Norway also have plenty and now also Estonian guys have been popping up in our gatherings.

I have noticed that there are couple of other Finnish guys posting here. Personally I don't know any local 2nd gen Charger owners but I do know several cars that visit our gatherings.

Welcome aboard from one newbie to another. We're in the same boat searching for a 1969 Charger. But you have more of a challenge than I do being all the way over there in Finland. Good luck on your search.
