They do, but they're $2400 and then the glass is $1000. I can do a lot of stuff with $3400. If I was restoring a real bird and was replacing the plug due to rust, etc., you can bet that I would spend the money for the correct stuff, but where do you draw the line on a clone?

There's nothing wrong with a well made fiberglass nose. If it was damged at some point, it might actually be easier to repair. There are many other parts that would need to be steel just to hold up in the long run.

Hi Rich,
Gotta be a 500 tribute!
Especially if you have good 69 fenders.
Don't like 'clone' sounds alien.
Metal is best, so Vega is wiser.
Real 500/Tona window trims are super rare.

On a different note, can't the lower glass window edge be cut straight?
Surely a diamond wheel and plenty of water will do it?
Just a thought LoL.

Good luck with the build.
No.22 Rossi Red/Gold racecar tribute for me.

Short answer. Nope. Once tempered the glass cannot be cut.
