  the other might be a Chinese repop of a repop part     , aside from having no hurst script , whats mentioned  , may be its not made out of the same gauge steel , plating quality    ........

Summit shows the hurst and gives a reference back to the above shifter seems they are the same made by hurst for mopar performace and missing side hurst name but cheaper.

I don't understand, I bought a genuine hurst repro console shifter for cheaper than that. True it was a few years ago but still I'm sure the prices are comperable...why would someone buy a fake for the same price as real?

I'm fairly certain that they are produced by the same supplier. The Hurt logo has to be licensed so that shifter will obviously cost more. For what it's worth, Hurst doesn't even make their own handles any more (at least not these old ones).

I've done business with Van's. Never heard of the other place.

Van just told me they are made by the same supplier one has hurst logo one does not.  The one that does not is a genuine Mopar Performace handle.  Its sold as a mopar part that u can get at a dodge dealership.
