Hi all, I am rebuilding my dash, I have it out and as usual rhere are a couple cut wires that I have no clue where they are supposed to go. I dont have the cash for a new harness so I want to clean rhis one up. Anyine have a diahram or illustration where this stuff goes? Thanks, Jon

not familiar with 2nd gens, but... 1st pic could be clock source? 3rd gens standard cluster gets same light gray color for that

I was looking closely at the cluster and harness and that grey wire sure looks like it went to the clock assembly.  Both are cut but wire colors are different.  Wire coming out of clock looks like speaker wire.  Based on the position of the wire though I dont see how it could be anything else unless it was originally much longer.  Lovin 46 year old wiring......  :-)  Still cant believe they push that much current through the Amp meter.....

Thanks,
Jon

is not an instant burnt out... is a constant heating for long years due lack of power coming form power sources, and lot of power being requested by the car

Google wiring diagram and your model charger I found one for 1970

Dino

Grey is indeed the clock and the others are the ammeter wires.   :yesnod:
