Finally, after around 8 years searching for one, FIND ONE...

removed from cluster... began to clean it up, and lube it up a little bit ( vaseline on gears )

BUT SUDDENLY, HEARD A CRACK!!! and found where it came out:

:brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:

the plastic piece which keeps the needle return coil spring in place got broken and loosen from housing, making the springs is not anymore in place now and needle moving freely. I think I can fix the piece... a little bit of epoxy glue could make the job, but my main concern is now.

IS THIS SPRING THE PIECE WHAT GETS ADJUSTED TO GET THE CORRECT SPEEDO READING ?

if so, now will need to find out how to calibrate it!  :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:

OR WITH JUST GET GLUED THE PLASTIC WHAT KEEPS THE SPRING IN PLACE AND GIVING JUST ENOUGH TENSION TO THE SPRING IS ENOUGH TO MAKE IT WORK CORRECTLY?

if so, will be kinda easy then.

PLEASE HELP

Note, I have a drastic solution and is reuse my 150 miles speedo system ( 150 miles---> 240 Kilometers ), changing the face and odometer gears ( to make the correct kilometers account ), but would whish to save this one

Hey Mano,

You have repaired many broken parts over the years.

You will make this one function like new as well.

Odelay!

well, I made to "fix" it (I knew was able to do it, dunno how much will last long though )... but wondering if this coil springs is the calibration stuff, or just the needle return.
