I am putting a 68 b boby power drum brake booster on my 70 rr 4speed with manual drum 11 inch drum brakes. The peddle is all most on the floor. What am I missing.  :shruggy:

Am assuming you've already been through bleeding and enough fluid?

Probably check the pcv valve into the booster hasn't failed and locked solid. Pull it out and blow into it both ways, it should on pass air in one direction, mine had failed.

Next I'd check the stroke length adjustment screw on the end of the actuation rod inside the booster, the locknut on mine had come loose and the adjuster had moved back a lot.

How far do I screw it back in.  No nut just a spring.

Vacuum leak somewhere? My 73 backfired early on and blew one of the plugs off the valve.  :o no brakes and pedal to the floor. Be sure everything is tight.

On leaks starter car up peddle did  not move at all. Down or up.  :brickwall:

Ever driven a power brake B body before?  Going from manual to power, the pedal height itself is waaaaay lower than the manual brake pedal height. :Twocents:

This is assuming that you have no hydraulic (air in lines etc) issues..........
