 does anyone make a "drop in" tach to replace the clock in a 71 b body  rallye cluster ?

Do they really just drop/bolt into the clock clusters without modification?

I'm rebuilding a rallye dash for my 71 GTX clone to replace the non tach cluster that is in there. The tach bolts exactly where the clock was, only thing you need to remember is the tach needs both 12V power and a neg side of coil input to work.

the diff ( beside it got modern electronics ) is they are 8K and originals are 7K. I bet they are Autometer system into the stock housing and look

I changed the lense out so I did not have the hole where the reset knob goes.
