Thats not a car collection its a scrapyard, a cool one but still a scrapyard.

It's not in western mass either, it's in Vermont.  Guy has been trying to sell these cars for all the $$ for years. Cars are still there and still rotting away.  

This is from 2006 just so you get an idea of how fast these will be moving into the open market.

Yep,  Don't hurt anyone as you rush to the bank to make sure you are the first one there with  in hand.

and every year Mother Nature takes her toll...and the price goes down.    For all that junk, there might not be many "jewels" left.

Except I'm sure they figure each year the crap is a little rarer and thus the price goes up.

Maybe if he let the cars go 25 yrs ago he could have produced some decent cars.
And helped the hobby instead of waiting to cash out on rot.

Guys, we all are a bit sour when these stories come up, me included, so I thought I would mention the following:

I have not met the guy personally though I hope to this year or next but many of my car pals in the area do know him and have been there. The ALL say that he is a very nice guy to talk with and is very friendly and willing to talk cars for hours.

Anyhow, thought it was worth mention.

It is worth mentioning, it doesn't change the out of touch price but at least it sounds like he isn't some car hater thinking its a good way to torture us.
