Hi!

We where going to strip all the paint from my 69 front valance yesterday but notice that it was deform around some of the holes like dents, identical

We went out to look at our new 68 and it had just the same dents, looks strange was this something they did in factory? bec the 68 is never touched

Some one with same problem?

Not really sure what you mean but I have my valance off my 68 right now any pictures

I take some pictures tomorrow of the valances tomorrow
The deforms are at the two big holes behind the parkinglight holes.
the thin string of metal between those two holes are formed like a V
if that would be straight plain the metal would not have anywhere to go.

Ill take pictures tomorrow

Just looked at mine.  No dents.  Looks like yours got dented.

timmycharger

we flattened mine with a hammer/ dolly, I found this pic that I was using as reference as there were parts of mine that I was not sure of.

Could it have something with the old wrecker straps and or how it may have been towed back in the day? :shruggy:
