quarter window adjustment

I'm restoring a 69 charger.  I just put in the quarter glass and when I roll up the window the top is not aligned with the weather strip and goes in towards the interior of the car.  The door glass is aligned correctly so that the gap is about 1/4 inch at the top (quarter glass points into car).  I've adjusted the bottom of the front track in as far as possible and the top out as far as possible and still do not have the glass right.  What ever I'm doing is the same on both sides of the car.

Do you have a factory manual, hard to advise without being there , your going to have to experiment, one step at a time so you know what works ,
Sometimes the opposite works as far as these guides go

 side glass adjustment can be an all weekend job to get it dialled in correctly  ,   an FSM is a good place to start  ! also if you can take  good pictures of how it is & whats happening  , we can all have a look on here & see what  the best plan of attack is

Good advice , photos and description , the rear guide adjusted in will help angle the front out
I would be checking the condition of all rollers first

Thx.   I got a 70 service manual and followed the procedure for a hard top quarter window, still not luck.  I'll send pictures when I can.  BTW just to be sure do you know if the upper mount for the front quarter window guide goes through the round hole or the oval hole?
