It appears to be a Howe tube frame chassis.     They were said to be developing a Challenger skin.    Good looking car.

Wonder what development has been done on the engine?  That could be an uphill climb.

Ghoste

It could be a vertical face to climb.

Look sick...they just need T/A hoods!!  :drool5:
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

Ghoste

Those would look cool but it appears they are going to be taking air right from the front.

I hope Dodge does something with the Challenger R/T street version that promotes this venture.  All the excitement about the Hellcat is great for the company, but it's out of reach for quite a few customers.  They either need to brand the race car an R/T, or do a TA special edition R/T for the street.  The fact that they are racing the 5.7 Hemi will be an additional benefit to this car.

A good reason to buy the one that "only" makes 375 HP.    I'd still be pretty happy with one of those "low powered" Challengers.

with all the excitement on facebook over the 'hellcat charger' you would assume everyone is buying.  YOu see how crazy everyone is going crazy over it, talks about mortgage a home for a hellcat charger, to selling their old chargers for one, etc....  its almost like there is gonna be a hellcat all over the place.

Talk is cheap.    There will be the dealer markup.   Then the cars will be "hard to get", at least for a while.   Also, there will be the come to Jesus moment when the insurance quote arrives.    I could see some people going in to buy a Hellcat and being talked into the more readily available model at a much lower price.

 :iagree:

Like the guys that say: "Well, if it had 2 doors, I'd buy one!"   No they wouldn't....    :Twocents:
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Ghoste

Kind of like with the Hemi cars back in the day.
