I ordered 2 sets of these for my '69. Each set is supposed to come with 4 washers, 2 large and 2 small:

One of the sets was missing one of the large washers. Do I need it?

My apologies in advance if I'm overlooking the obvious.
This might be a stretch in over-thinking, but have you thought at all about contacting MOOG??  :shruggy:

I wanted to make sure I needed them first, because if I didn't, I wouldn't worry about it. Sometimes parts are included with things that you don't truly need because you can reuse what's already on the car (like an upper ball joint washer/spacer), or sometimes there are extra parts to make it compatible with a wider range of applications, and you only need some of them for any given single application.

From what I've been able to find out since I posted this thread, I do need all 4 of those washers/ferrules; though I can't remember if the new Moog standard bushings I installed a few years ago had those same washers/ferrules or not. If they do, I could reuse one of those. Either way, I'm going to contact the seller first. Moog would probably just say it is the seller's responsibility anyway.

Yes. Although, it is likely the same as the ones you currently have if you already installed Moog parts. I have no idea if it is recommended to install the new ones or not. Either way, you got incomplete "kits" so I'd make the seller sort it out.

From the seller:

QuoteYes and sorry again for the mistake we made. Its being packaged and shipped right now

That's their second mistake (which is why he says "again") because they originally shipped me only one set instead of the two that I ordered. It was the second set he sent that was missing one of the washer/ferrule things.

Can anyone confirm that this is the correct way to install them in order to increase positive caster?

Mine didn't come with relevant instructions (only instructions for more positive camber, which few people would want unless they have a too much negative camber problem for some reason).

There's an Ehrenberg article somewhere that states how to do it (that picture might be from it). I believe the back ones go opposite. The instructions in the box are incorrect for what you want to do so you don't want them any way.

The instructions you are showing indicate the installation position that would give the greatest positive caster. Having the correct camber with this starting position is unlikely but is a good starting point.

From this position if the front bushing were turned in either direction it would increase negative camber.
Also from this position if the rear bushing were turned in either direction it would increase positive camber.

As they are turned together they move from positive to negative caster

Moving either will decrease positive caster.

Should I put grease on these offset bushings (silicone-based such as Sil-Glyde so as not to harm the rubber) before installing them? Does it matter one way or another? I'd rather not have them squeak.

Stock ones have the washers built into them, so to speak.  These are separate so you can see the offset when installing, I would presume.  The compression of the adjustment bolt will be concentrated on the thin tube in the middle without the washers.
