Been busy lately working on almost every one of my 81 year old dad's vehicles and etc... He never tell's me when something isn't working until several thing's aren't working. His golf cart died then is air compressor died and the four wheeler wouldn't run all within a couple of weeks!!  ::) I figured out everything was down and had to put a solenoid and one new battery in the golf cart and got it up and going but did not know it had no brakes at all. Drove it around the house to pull it in and plug it up and let it charge and had no brakes at all!!!! Ran it straight into the wall!!! LOL. Ordered two new brake cables for it and got the brakes fixed up on it and it is good to go for now. Loaded the air compressor up and brought it home with me and got it figured out pretty quick, I straight wired it and bypassed the pressure switch and it started up and ran fine, ordered a new pressure switch and got that fixed. :2thumbs: Took that back down there and picked up the four wheeler. It is a 1994 suzuki 250 or 350, i'm not even really sure but it was dead for the most part. I pulled the starter off and got it rebuilt and had to order a new starter relay. Got it to spin over with the button at least (I am not very good with these kind of vehicles) Got it started but it ran like crap and could tell it was flooding bad. Already had the rear fender's and the rear rack off to get to the starter anyway so pulled the carburetor and cleaned it and put it back on there but it still ran crappy. Ordered a carb kit and figured out the fuel valve was vacuum operated and it was bad and pulling fuel through the vacuum line and causing it to flood and run like crap. Got the carb kit in there and plugged off the fuel valve for the moment just to get it running again and it actually ran pretty good but still a little rich. The carb kit didn't have any settings or spec's so found some spec's on the net and had to go back in and change two things which was a mixture screw adjustment and move a clip up one grove from where I had it and you wouldn't believe what a difference it made!!! Got it running great now and put a new fuel valve on it and have almost got all his vehicles back up and running again!!!  ;D

HANDM

Sounds like my house except I'm the Dad and I have to keep all MY shit running......

Last week I rebuilt the 4 barrels on all three Mopars, they were running like crap and surging, completely gummed up from sitting
Need to get the three wheeler started and braff
Need to get the china bike out and start it
Charged the battery on the Scout, fired it up for a braff in the woods
This weekend it's new master and wheel cylinders for the Charger
Then there's the chainsaw, weed whacker, mower, blower, edger...............

Shall I go on.... LOL!

I know the feeling!!!! I'm just caught up with all my crap for the moment so I started working on his stuff. Early this year I rebuilt the engine for my daughter's grand cherokee then done a complete brake job on it and just when I thought it was good to go the heater core was leaking so had to pull the complete dash out to replace that. Replaced the a/c compressor, dryer, and evap core on my old ford f 350 to get the air up and going on it then replaced the dryer and orfice line on my jeep to get the a/c working on it again. Had a few odd's an ends pop up like a few brake job's and such but actually a kinda slow summer for me homework wise... Got a few things I would like to do on the charger but funds are kinda low at the moment and it isn't something that is necessary so it can wait...
