Autolite 2974 in a 440??

I'm sick and tired of fighting with the headers for space and have been looking at trying to find
some shorty plugs to use other than Accel. I have come across this more than once that the
Autolite 2974 or the Autolite 2976 plugs work well in 440's, is that true? It's a lawn mower plug!
Is the heat range correct and what is the difference between the 2974 and the 2976?
Almost forgot its a 73 440 stock heads.

Anybody know!

Thanks

Find some one to help you modify headers that can weld , shorty plugs not a real fix , just short term , been there done that , would rather modify headers for plug , leads clearance

What headers are you running? I have cheap $100 heddmans on my 383 and have plenty of room. My 440 had 2" hooker super comps and even those were not bad.
