Power window stops

I just installed the door glass and have adjuster bracket bolted to the window bracket. It's adjustable so you can set the height of the glass when it's down, but there's still a lot of room between the bracket and the bottom of the inside door so I'm missing something. Should there be a rubber stop or something that bracket needs to hit when the window goes down?

Yes, the power window doors have a bracket bolted to the bottom with a rubber stop on them .
