That's the worst one I've seen in a while.  I went to look at a '68 in Tampa a couple of years ago and it looked decent from the outside, but once you looked at the inside it was a total goner like this one.   It was a silver '68 R/T car at least - and the guy wanted $2500 for essentially the VIN.    Had a perfect grille and a tic-toc tach so I'd say with that color combo it could have been worth it to someone in parts - but this thing will wind up melted down and the steel will be used in a nice fork an knife set for someone :)

The guy looks at me and says 'It could be brought back' and I just laughed and told him if he ever did it he should call it Lazarus because it would take a genuine miracle to get rid of all that body rot.

At least this seller didn't put the word 'rat rod' in the ad.  It's annoying that people think they can sell a complete POS only worth scrap price and if they say 'rat rod' the car is suddenly worth 5K.

Not to hijack here but:
hatersaurusrex I think that this is the same Charger I inquired about. I found him thru Craigslist when I was doing a nation wide search for a 68 Charger. All major cities. This was March of 2012. It's got to be the same car being from Tampa.
Was his name Raymond?
If so was he in the military?
I was never close to buying it being here in Vegas once I saw more detailed pics of the Charger.
He actually had it in the parts section of Craigslist.
Here are some pics I actually saved that he posted.

In regards to the one referenced in the original post, doesn't that car look very similar to the "swamp" Charger?  :scratchchin:   Or was that one a '68?

Swamp Charger  :o , that looks like someone thought it'd be a good idea to store their collection in the woods.
