Who is using competition engineered rear shocks

Who else is using the CE shocks I bought part # 2730 from summit racing . I pushed in the metal sleeves that's came in the box and went to put them in. The bottoms eyelet with the metal sleeve in is to small.  It may fit if the sleeve was not in there but I need it do I not ?? The top is fine

What are you guys doing , did I order the wrong shock ??

I ran them for drag racing on the 67 but I don't recall any issues like that.  I still have them here somewhere I'll have to take another look at them but I can't recall anything like that.

I've used them before. I don't recall there being a metal sleeve in there. If there was, I must have pushed it out because I had them bolted to my stock shock plates.

I pushed out the sleeve and the rubber bushing fits perfect.
