Pic...NEEDED of pad beside distributor. Should be numbers/symbols stamped in it.

Ghoste

Did you look for numbers down at the bottom of the block just above the oil pan or just up high?

Charger_70

Ok so far only thing i have found out is that the motor was a 77 model... just dont know what...

Ghoste

Did you look for the stamped pad on the side of the block?

The machined pad in front of the intake manifold will have the build info., the machined pad above the pan gasket on the passenger side will have a partial VIN....those two should tell you all you want to know.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Wrong. Look at the drivers side, opposite of the distributor and find a 2 inch tab. It should read 440.
Pic's of the entire front engine will help us. Don't forget to show a pic of the crank balancer.

See this is exactly what I'm referring to in my post about what I have to chuckle at.
I stated the EXACT same thing....really? And I'm wrong somehow?
The "pad" is beside distributor socrates.

The pad is opposite side of distributor.
