Front Disc/rear drum (not sure if original to car or a retrofit)
Power Booster

Went to bleed my brakes and im not getting any pressure to the rear drums. Going to replace the MC. What master cylinder should I look for as a replacement. Parts stores have power MC, manual MC, drum MC, and disk/drum MC. What should I be looking for? I can get some pics if needed.

IIRC 68/9 use the same masters year to year. You will want to stick with a Disc/Drum MC as the ratio of pressure from front to rear is different. I also believe that power or not it is the same MC.  Here are a few links for you that might help you find a correct looking master.

Note that if the rear slave cylinder is locked up/frozen it could appear like you are not getting any pressure because you will not see any flow out of the bleeder nut. I had this on my 69 on the front slaves.

Good point about the stuck slave cylinders in the rear. I think its the only part of the brake system that hasnt been changed recently... I might start there since I have a couple new ones, just have been putting the replacement off until I knew that I needed them.

Thanks for the info! I will let you know how it goes.

and if it does turn out to be the master at fault ,
dont waste your money on re manufactured ones there junk , dorman , cardone junk, just frustration,
find a good brake place, get it sleeved stainless , and buy a seal kit, it will never crud again and if it everleaks , it wont, and you can just put a new kit in again
shitty re popped or susposedly remanufactured parts have had me chasing my tail endlessly on brakes lately

Good suggestion. My problem though is that mine looks like it was replaced at some time... I've got some new wheel cylinders that I just haven't swapped yet. I'm going to try that first. I might have an original mc on a parts car. Need to check.
