For both of your sakes, let's hope he is as motivated now as when your elbows up into the job.

Several years ago a friend pointed out some spots on his car that were starting to rust in the lower quarters. It was a small job. I offered to take care of it for him, for FREE, as he was a good friend. I only told him to buy any materials we might need. I had all the tools, metal, etc. He's still driving it around, & the rust holes are getting bigger & worse. No motivation.
