Quarter glass bolts, what do they look like?

Just about to install my quarter glass and I cant identify the bolts that hold on the quarter glass. I know the thread but I don't know what the head looks like. Anyone can describe it or send a pic?  Also I saw in a thread on this site where somebody used ribbed hose and made new pads but he didn't say what he made them out of. Any tips on what to make it out of? I have ribbed hose for the hole, but my old one seems really big meaning the bolt is loose in there, I figured it should be tight? Appreciate any feedback

The ribbed hose should fit pretty tight around the bolt, and be the same diameter as the original.

I used gasket material to make some of the spacers, those might be the ones you're taking about.....see pic.
