Having never been a stoner, I decided to watch a few minutes of this "classic". I kept thinking I would find something funny in it.
I did not.
What I did see though were 2 68-70 Chargers. In one scene, Cheech's Impala was parked in/on a median when a Policeman rolled up on him. In the background is a red Charger with either a faded top or a white vinyl roof. It had hubcaps.
Later in the movie, A blue 69-70 was seen in traffic on the right side of the road. White taillight panel, white roof. A yellow 72-74 barracuda passed through a scene at one time.
I also spotted a few Dusters and Darts. The film was released in 1978 so our cars were still out there in great numbers.
The scenes in Tiajuana had a red 3rd gen, a few Polaras, a Green Dart Sport with a white stripe and a few others I couldn't identify.

Up in smoke wasn't as funny as some of the other C&C classics.  Thought nice dreams was funny.  It helps to have been a stoner to appreciate it more.  Wasn't a stoner when they came out, was afterwards for a while, eventually grew out of it.  The Corsican brothers was a funny C&C movie, but not exactly a stoner film.   Have to remember, sense of humors were different back in those days.
69 RT/SE Y3 cream yellow w/tan vinyl top and black r/t stripe. non matching 440/375, 3:23, Column shift auto w/buddy seat, tan interior, am/fm w/fr to back fade, Now wears 17" magnum 500 rims and Nitto tires. Fresh repaint, new interior, new wheels and tires.

Well since you brought it up I did the homework for you
I was bored LOL.

Early Scene With a Red 2nd Gen in the Background After C&C Get Pulled Over by the Cops.

Here's the Blue 69 With White Tail Panel & Top.

A Parked Gold Plymouth Scamp.

A Yellow 71 Charger Getting Ready to Pass Another 3rd Gen Charger (Red Arrow)

Same Yellow Charger Now Side by Side With the Red 3rd Gen.

Solo Shot of the Red 3rd Gen (71 or 72).

It Appears That This Red 71 or 72 Has a Sunroof.

Green Duster or Dart Sport (Red Arrow)

Yellow 72 Cuda? This is the Best Shot I Could Get Due to the Fast Movement.

71 or 72 Plymouth Duster.

Same Duster As the Above Shot. Looks Like 71 Side Marker.

I watched all those movies too when I was younger. I always thought they were pretty funny. And I've never smoked a joint in my life.
