  round 1 of the offshore superboat championships kicks off this weekend    http://www.superboat.com.au/

and as a regular host to the circus that follows  and with  a week of the school holidays left they've put one on display in our forecourt

Wow, thats insanely cool, will have to goggle it tomorrow night.
I used to have a twin tunnel rammed 355 in a 17'6" flatbottom, it could do 70mph, but my friends 454 one could crack a ton. Great days

Very, nice for an unlimited class boat

800,         kinda thinking 1000 to 1200 Hp

Used to drive a 30 ft C & D class cat, some time ago, a pair of 600 hp  small blocks, and run 120 to 125 mph, on fresh water. A very expensive hobby!!!!!!

Just guessing that one should run 140 to 155 mph or more.
