Firm Feel Front Sway Bars on 73/74

Anyone install one of these on their 73/74? I was under the impression they would bolt right up in a factory sway bar car. It appears that I have to modify my LCAs as my 74 factory front sway bar clamps to the strut rods, and not the LCAs like the Firm Feel bar. There are LCA mounting brackets that were included, but I'd rather not drill into my original LCAs. Did any factory LCAs have these mounts, or use a different sway bar setup than what I'm seeing on my 74?
WANTED: NOS or excellent condition 72-74 4 speed shifter boot for bench or centre armrest car, part number 3467755. It's a rubber boot that looks like it's sewn up leather.
