I listed one of my chargers for sale locally and I think the rust has been keeping it from moving.
It's an original '74 360-4 4speed car but now has a running mid '70s 440.

Oddly, I see this '74 360 motor for sale locally and come to find out its actually out of a charger.  So, I think i may have changed my plans on this car.

He will sell me the motor for $500 with everything all original to the motor.  I'm not sure what to look for specifically from photo's but it seems it is in sound shape??
Just wanted to post in case there is something I'm overlooking in the photos.

Here is some of the info as I received it from him.
"... Here are a few of the motor going back together. I had the heads painted but they were rehot tanked at the shop. The intake is cast iron just looks aluminum because of the cleaning process. I have the pulleys and brackets beadblasted and primed along with the valve covers. They will be installed in the morning then the whole motor will be painted and the pulleys and brackets will be installed..."

Small blocks.  :eek2:

Well, only the one you see in the pictures is.
;)

I kinda figured it might be a better selling point if I convered it back to what it is/was.  It's not the original motor but it's pretty darn close.  And from what I can tell, I cannot see throwing $500 bucks at this motor as a money losing effort.   Kinda all I'm asking here.  Thanks though!!
