I just recently pulled the pan and there was a broken (big end?) at the bottom of the pan,
From what I can tell its snapped off and the rest of the piston is caught between the crank and the inside wall of the engine, thus why I could not turn the motor by hand, I was able to take a few pics, not very good, can you guys please look and give me your thoughts please.

Thank you kindly

? Your still trying to get the remainder out, have you tried turning engine back the other way ,
Is engine out of the car and on a stand ?.
So it's let go of a big end , before you go much further, time to examine rest of engine to decide wether or not it's going to be worth it, heads off and inspect the bore , if any damage from that piston letting go,
It could be just damage to that journal on crankshaft, cap rod and one piston ,
Get engine torn down further and post some photo's, head off etc

Where you driving it when it went bang?

Your going to be tearing it down anyway ,so get it on the stand. Remove the heads and look at the bore/piston involved. Remove the timing chain and any rods/pistons you can get out to reduce the torque required to rotate the crank. Carefully try to back the crank up.

If it is still stuck and you get to the point you are thinking about breaker bars with pipes on them, crowbars or sledge hammers take the short block to a Mopar friendly machine shop.

At this point you are just trying to save the block. The crank wound need to be checked for cracks/stress after a sudden stoppage.

Not good.

Everything needs to be checked.  Best case: Rod, piston, crank.  Worst case: Rod(s), Piston(s), crank, block, head, valves, pushrods

500" NA, Eddy head, pump gas, exhaust manifold with 2 1/2 exhaust with tailpipes
4150 lbs with driver, 3.23 gear, stock converter

Tear the engine completely down and have the block magna fluxed by a machine shop.  This will tell you if you need a different block or not.  You may also get the crank checked as well if you're trying to save a buck.  I'd go ahead and buy a new crank and a new set of rods and pistons, but only after you've had the block checked.

Worse case scenario, your engine is a boat anchor :pity:

Thank you for your replies guys much appreciated.

Just to answer a few questions

Engine is still in the car.
Ive turned the crank bolt clock wish and it will not budge, I turn it ainti clock wise and the bolt comes off.
Ive managed to get the 2 pistons out, Rest are to hard ive tried a lot.
This piston that's stuck is the second in on drivers side, Ive stripped down the engine a much as I can, removed heads everything looks fine, even the cylinder of the stuck piston looks good, From what I can see and feel anyway, I will take some pics for you guys too look at in the next few days.

To be honest I really want to keep this block as its the original block, But if its damaged its damaged, I was trying to drop the tranny and then pull the motor as space is an issue, But now im going to have to resort to plan B and push the car out and pull the engine and tranny together.

Thanks for all your help guys, Really appreciated and helpful.
