Friend of mine (local blower guru) came over and tuned my engine. Man she is STRONG!
I have to say this is the first time I have been scared :2thumbs:

Doesnt matter what gear, stomp it and the tires instantly light up.

So the first real drive we decide to go to the local cruise-in held here every Saturday. She ran good, no problems.
When we were leaving, we had to go through an area under construction. One section of roadway had the top layer of asphalt removed and there was a big azz manhole cover sticking up. it was at dusk and kinda hard to see until it was too late. Grabbed the oil pan and dropped 7 quarts of oil on the ground :brickwall:

Removed the pan today and thank God the pan was the only victim.

:RantExplode: Man that sucks!! I would be pissed. How much clearance do you have from ground to the bottom of the oil pan?

Well I have a little more now :icon_smile_big:

Just ordered a different pan with more of a kickout and 1.5" shorter.

A lot of people have those pans hanging on their war wall    Mine was scraped off at about 150mph.

Glad to hear nothing else was hurt.

Sorry to hear , not sure if you know but they released a road race oil pan recently that holds that same capacity but has a lower profile to prevent that from happening.
You have a beautiful car  :drool5:
