Another 2nd gen trunk light question

Just wondering what other applications the bulb holder was used for?  I have to think it was fairly widespread and over quite a period of time, it looks like it should be one of those sort of universal fit parts that Chrysler used all over the place?

 with out checking , think its the same as the licence plate lamp

i'll have a look at mine sometime over the weekend !! , going by memory & shape of bulb  , think my trunk light has the original bulb still ,   

just done a quick search  ,  have a look in this thread  says  bulb #1004  for  trunk  & dome  lights !!  it can be though !! because  the dome light bulb is a double contact because of the pink & yellow wires running to it  , trunk & licence plate light are only a single centre contact  , going from memory

I think the trunk light bulb holder was for trunks only...I can't think of any other place that it was used

sorry guys  my memory is not what it was    ,
ignore my above posts about trunk light bulb same as licence plate bulb , they are NOT the same !!
  the trunk light bulb is a double contact bulb & it is the same as the dome light bulb  #1004



   also  took a few pictures  , seem to remember  the trunk light cropped up in another thread a while back

Yeah, I had been looking for the location recently as well.  My switch is still there but the bulb holder and wiring is gone so I wondered what other applications I might search to get one.

 have you checked to see if any of the wiring is there !! ?

Yes, most of it is missing as well but the car came with the light package so it was there at one time.

been having a look on the net ,  seems to be a few trunk lamps  ,     have a look at Bulls thread   , I've borrowed a couple of pictures too      second picture is mine !!

connector B is in the trunk
connectors A  connects to the console lamps too !!     so  may well be different for a column change car with a A01

i'll have to take my kick panel off to have a look , I cant remember to be sure how its connected ,  second picture , the pink & yellow coming down vertical , is for the dome light

 sorry for the miss information , my memory is not what it was ,
just took my kick panel off to check !!   the  dome  / trunk  light  & pink & yellow wire have nothing to do with the console , 
last picture is how the trunk wire ran in mine ,
