I've got a 68 R/T with AC. I've got the 26 inch radiator, but I just found out that 440 w/ AC had a different 26 inch radiator than non-AC 440, and that it was the one used w/ Hemi cars.

Is this correct?

From what I heard, a non a/c car came with a 22" radiator.

The factory parts book shows the 383 and Hemi share the same 26" radiator (2898048), 440 is either 2898047 or 2949054.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Anything with A/C got a 26" and, for the most part, anything without got a 22". If you got an axle package (say with your 4-speed R/T) you automatically got upgraded to 26".

I know there was a 2 core and a 3 core 26" radiator but now I forget the specific instances where they were installed.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Back N Black

The only 26 inch rad that is different is small block cars with A/C. The inlet and outlet are on the same side.

I can't speak for other years but in Geno's (very well done  :2thumbs:) chart, the 054 is the 26" three core and the 055 is the 26" two core. The 053 is the 22" two core.
