Very untrue?... alot of the 100% of chargers were destroyed, and of course many have had engine transplants

Well, it looks like it could be close at first glance but weren't there any /6s in 69s? Funny, I didn't realize until now that 225 = 3.7L. Apparently the new 3.7L Mopar engine has a little more significance than I thought, even though the configuration is a lot different.

7.0 is as close as you can get to a 426 when converting it to liters... Unless you have one of the ever elusive 6.9809L engines.

I recon it could be more like this  for a 69 !!

Others have rounded up engine displacements before; Ford's 5.0 (4.9) and GM's LS1 350 (346") are just a couple examples...

462, or .5% of Chargers were graced with the Leaning Tower of Power. That number probably disappeared in Autozone's rounding.
