Internet Explorer has pissed me off

I decided to try Google Chrome. IE is just riddled with problems like opening multiple tabs when I click on a link, not wanting to back up one screen, hitting back again takes you all the way back, and cant go forward. IE sucks!

I dumped explorer as well....use chrome...like it much better.

I haven't used IE for anything more than checking my Hotmail account for close to 10 years (because Hotmail refuses to work with anything else). Now that I can check it using the app on my phone I may not ever have to use it again!

I use FireFox and I really like the Bookmark features that you can separate items and so on.
But it is a bit sluggish on my laptop, it is not exactly new. Chrome any better? Has anyone tried both to compare? :popcrn:

I have tried both. Chrome seems easier to use but Firefox is faster on my PC. And being able to set Chrome up to open to set pages is pretty cool. So for me its a toss up, I'm using Firefox now but have both on my desktop.

Don't know if that's true but, i did have to remove pop up ad programs that would "install" themselves . One of the reasons for trying Firefox.

I use both Firefox and Chrome. Firefox runs better for me - but my usage may be different than the average person. I do lots of research so tend to have lots of tabs open (like 80+). Chrome forgets what's going on and doesn't render the pages correctly (or just goes blank) when I switch around. Firefox doesn't have that problem but can randomly crash (usually when a lot of the pages make heavy use of Flash). Both are more secure than IE and generally more reliable. Security for anything is primarily dependent on the user though. Both are easier to back up/save settings and favorites.

Yes, Google tracks you. So does everyone else.

I don't have a problem with IE but I refuse to update to 11 (using 10) were you having trouble with IE 10 or had you updated to 11 :scratchchin:
