Lots of treads right now on driving etiquette.

Hears my idea:  At cars will painted white. Every driver gets a paintball gun with only 3 shots per year. (make them count)

When you have a left lane hog ,tailgater, texter, the driver who cuts of the semi truck to make their exit or what ever.  Shoot their car.  When a LEO see's a car with 3 or more paint splotches he pulls them over and gives them a ticket with a fine and mandatory drivers ed refresher class.

If you see a car with lots of splotches you can keep an extra watch on them.

I hate to give up B5 blue, go green and of course my triple black paint scheme , but hey it's all about safety.

Lemme give you a local scenario that actually happened here.
one of the brothers was cruising and by his own admission, was a little "swervy" cause he dropped his lit cigarette.
when he finally picks it up, he's confronted with a bottle of water on his windshield.
he sees the guy and family in the other lane and pulls up, rolls window down, as is if he hit his car with something.
dude Hollar's back something about "damn right I did! Keep your eyes on the road dumbass!"

Well, this caused my buddy to lose his mind. He follows dude till he parks. Gets out and begs him in front of his family since he's such a badass, to throw something now. Dude begins with "oh your a real badass aren't ya? Your a big man huh?"

My buddy had to explain that while his ride never crossed into his lane, he should be more careful who he decides to f*ck with.
He coulda ended up in "real bad shape". Of course, by that time, my bro had called a few of us as back up/witnesses, and when he saw all 15 of us, he apologized real quick for his "overreaction"...

I see all kinds of problems with this idea. People who have a problem NOT related to traffic, paintballing cars just for payback. I mean, really? As if the cops aren't called for enough stupid sh*t already...

WOW,  I thought readers would pick up the humorous intent to deal with the frustration of rude drivers. I don't really think all cars would be required to be white, that any government would issue paintball guns or that the Police would write tickets based on paintball splotches.

Bottom line is, the left lane is only loosely considered the "fast lane" because the "majority" have adopted it as such.
it is no longer a "overtaking" lane. I see it everyday. People figure they can simply overtake ALL cars by simply driving in the "fast lane" at insane speeds. I've personally paced a few during the morning commute. I've seen speeds in excess of 80mph in a 65 mph zone.

Is the speed limit only for the right lane traffic if "The majority" is doing 85 plus mph? (How many have asked a cop why they got pulled when they were just "keeping up with traffic"?)
For those who hate slower drivers in the "overtaking lane", and think it's "rude", then by that same thinking, it's just as rude for someone doing say 5-10 over in the "overtaking lane"(as they are overtaking the slower traffic in the right lane) doing 85-90 mph in left lane to attempt to call them "rude" for not doing 90 mph...

And that's why Jersey drivers have a rep too. I also deal with Liberty U. And outta state drivers. Jersey ones seem to be the worst so far.

I see them all the time here...I actually think they're kinda cool. I mean, if they can make a 60-something year old Korean lady in a Camry look like Darth Vader, imagine what they'd do for me!
