I am in Canton and found one junkyard that has a 72 Charger and I was able to walk the yard. The 72 has a few items that I may get in  the spring if I decide to get my 71 parts car back on the road. I have been trying to locate some yards with Mopars and have not had much luck. I heard there was one in Wooster when I called the guy acted like I was crazy for thinking there would be early 70 cars still left in any junkyard.

hey. actually there is one in wooster i found two years ago. he had a bunch of old stuff. i think there were some 3rd generation chargers there. really nice guy too... since the weather is getting nicer figured it would be cool to scout some local yards...

There is one down in Washington, PA near the Wash. County fairgrounds.  I was able to get in and walk the yard because I knew the owner's nephew.  I picked up bucket seats and a trunk lid for my 73.  I will warn you that the owner is extremely unfriendly and will not let you past the gate into the yard.  His mother has a worse mouth than any Marine I've ever served with ( she has got to be 90 ).  If somehow you do get in to the yard, you will be amazed.  Challenger stacked on Cuda stacked on Charger, etc.  Be warned, he does know what he has and prices accordingly.  I wanted a disc brake set up for my Chally off of a 70 he had in the yard and quoted me $400.00 a side.  I passed.

He has 2 or 3 warehouses on the property with his "done" cars.  Chevelles, Camaros, a winged car, hot rod ford coupes, Mustangs, you name it, it's there.

Like I mentioned before, I only got in thanks to his nephew who worked for me for at the time.  If anyone reads Hot Rod, the owner's blown Chevelle was featured a while back.  It was light blue and called "the love tub".  Good Luck.

too bad the days of finding these cars in junk yards for cheap is over. but there are still a lot of the small private junk yards that can still have deals found. i did find a really cool old junk yard in butler, pa. two years ago and this guy has everything. chargers, a couple challengers, 55-57 chevys, etc... very friendly guy but  not the cheapest....

Do you remember where in Butler?  I'm there a lot on business and can easily "escape" for a long lunch to check out a yard.

I must of called the wrong yard in Wooster. Do you remember the name or have the number. I am 20 minutes form Wooster and would like to make a trip in the next few weeks.
Thanks
